How to read the KPI dashboard correctly

Last updated: August 29, 2025Read time: 5 minutes

The dashboard helps school leadership and staff identify patterns across attendance, behavior, engagement, and operational activity.

Start with the overview layer

The top summary cards usually reflect key trends such as attendance, behavior indicators, task completion, or request volume.

Use drill-down views

Open detailed sections to understand where changes are happening and which classes, roles, or workflows are being affected.

Use indicators for action

  • Look for repeated patterns, not one-time spikes.
  • Compare operational and behavioral changes together.
  • Use dashboard signals to guide follow-up, not to replace judgment.
Dashboard views can differ depending on the package, permissions, and modules enabled by the school.
